I have a productive working relationship with my co workers.

I have a productive working relationship with my co workers. Different designs of the garment clothing needs creativity to suit different markets. I have an understanding of the buyers requirements. I have built up a thorough understanding of garment designs. Working with different customers and meeting the requirements. Working to tight deadlines and implementing last minute or post production changes by client.

Pros: Good opportunity to utilised my experience in the garment industry

Excellent learning curve

the most thing i like there was i was working with people who like to work and most thing i like was the admin especially month end cause it was too much and i had to compite with my time of finishing it

It has been a great learning curve

My store manager fell sick in Feb of this year and I unexpectedly found myself in a tole of a store manager it has been challenging but I embraced the challenge positively

Excellent working relatioship with employees and clients

Cape Town company is different from Gauteng company, however I am able to adjust based on the culture differences, using the LRM and HRD modules I have completed at UNISA. The most challenging aspects of job is working to tight deadline and implementing last minute or post production changes, however the knowledge I learned from the PMA 342 T which is the third year Psychology; Organizational behaviour I am able to apply the learning knowledge to overcome these challenges. Different designs of the garment clothing needs creativity to suit different market. I have an understanding of the buyers requirements. I have also built a thorough understanding of garment design which will be an advantage that I can use the strategy of how to manage the HR department of your company.

Learning curve

The company expects alot to be done such as packing out stovk, pricing and tagging. Which is basic day to day actigities in this retail environment, I feel that it is not challenging enough and that I am not using my skills to the best of my ability. I am a fast learner and a hard worker, so I strive for good work ethic even under pressure. Co workers are helpful and easy to get along with , but management treat some of us unfairly. The proffessional standard in the workplace is quickly broken by gossip stories while being on lunch. I have learnt that its best to do the work that is expected of you, whilst still assissting the customers to the best of my ability,

Pros: grow your selling skills and improve on customer relations
Cons: long working hours, for less the salary
