Oversee that operations requirement are met and on point

Assist the operation with planning the schedule and routing of trips, tracking and tracing of documents on the the system called gsap and ehaulier for shell whom we tendering for as Tanker Services. then attend daily duties for the operation such as ordering on accpac and liase with suppliers , do the fuel reconciliation, wages for weekly and monthly assist the HSSE with compiling reports for incidents or safety meetings. I enjoy being in a team with crazy people and their different personalities. Patience. I have learnt that as we all different our cultures and religion also differ therefore one needs to be understanding and be open minded. I learned that efficiency and effectiveness is important the most challenging aspect is assisting someone in a depot that is in another province over the phone I am a hands on person but team work and understanding is one of the key aspects as they contribute to a strong intergration in all departments.

Good petroleum experience

I plan to use my extensive skills of Logistics Management in a company that will fully utilize them and optimise efficiency. Working at my past jobs has proven to me that I have managerial skills as well as people skills, also I take easy to new instructions and learn puickly "so I've heard". I've learnt to expedite any work process that I've come across with ease. Typical work days are a breeze when one has the right mind-set as well as a an enthusiastic team who's always willing to share ideas.

Good company to work for

It’s a good company to work for escpecually when you want to kick start your career. We work on an open plan environment and the mood is relaxed, the good is that there is always someone to talk to and the bad no privacy. Throgjy the years I learned about different culture and my tolerance level has risen. A typical day after ensuring that drivers and updates are sorted, we have breakfast other colleagues and gives time to catch up on latest current affairs. I look forward to engage with drivers especially long distance it’s refreshing. The hours are long.

Pros: Good starting point to kick start career.
Cons: 12 hours shifts and not enough off days.

Learned a lot

Learned a lot over the years. Some Vat and SARS related matters. Journals General ledger accounts Tax pack preparations. Cash book Assist wit banking. Debtors Creditors Fixed assets loading. Sale of fleet. Capex preparations. Sub-Contractors. BEE submissions. Assist with stock Tx Point Balance sheet recons. Get a long with all people. Forex payments Enjoy dealing with outside role players. Enjoy forex and a lot of different things.

Pros: Studied via the company.
Cons: No extra growth.

Trade tested as a diesel mechanic...served my 4 years apprenticeship

I'm a young dedicated mechanic..still new in this industry..willing to learn more and i'm good in working as a team member and working individual...worked on Trucks and trailers..eg MAN..UD..MERC..SCANIA..VOLVO doing minor and major services...and also servicing trailers and doing standby duties attending brakedowns on the side of the road
