Opportunities to grow in your department

we work under a lot of stress as suppliers needs to be paid on time. we have +/- t8 sites and all the suppliers are paid a head office. we process +/- 800 invoices per creditor and we are four. I have a good relationship with my co workers and suppliers. when one is off we take over her responsibilities.

Experience Gained

Constuction and building of the new powerstation is really a huge learning curv for me alot of knowledge gained in a broad spectrum in my career and working with so many different cultures together is a very good experience.

Records Management & Archiving

My main responsibilty is to maintain and implement proper records managenent systems, policies and procedure. Maintain and control archiving marerials local and offsite. General Document control and Quality Assurance. Classification and Training.

Project Planner

I work in a competitive , challenging environment which requires you to be at work everyday for most part of the year. You need to be able to work within a team as plans are made within a team setting. I work as an advisor for my team, guiding them and cautioning them when necessary. I work closely with the Project manager and the Quantity surveyor in order to make orders, get resources, tools and equipment for maintenance jobs.

Pros: Exposure to different aspects of the company
Cons: Long working hours, limited opportunity to grow

I enjoy my work. Multi task and the idea of working with so many materials and not only steel.

I work for this company for over 30 years and with the idea of working with so many materials and with so many cultural people and with so many different countries, you feel part of a network of so many different things. For me to have the opportunity to have so many new challenges on each and every new project.

Pros: I always work for the next step on the lather.
Cons: I'm committed to my work and responsibility to end my day when the task is completed.

Working on Site in an office enviroment

I have worked in administration and document control. I have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. I can work alone or be part of a team.

Pros: There is always changes given to employees to improve them selves
Cons: The hours are long but it's all part of being in construction and you get use to it

Excellent learning

Working days are not the same sometimes good sometimes bad cause we work at different places like open place and confined places because of my small body I can fit in in almost everywhere

Excellent

I have been working for this company and I'm looking for growth at this moment. In terms of over time there's no over time and sometimes.work planing is very poor. It's a good company but some of the management are not familiar with managerial skills.

Seeking new oppertunity

I moved from Sasolburg to Hermanus for a fresh start with my wife. In Sasolburg I worked for Steinmuller Africa subcontracting for Sasol self. I did work with drawings and procurement and I was a material controller so I know the work flow proses. I worked closely with the planner and other estimators to complete jobs. I am a team player and able to bring my skills to the table to work with the company.

Like toe relocate. Family in port elizabth

Im curently working . I have a lot of responsibillties in a normal working day. I do get a long with my workers. I have learnt that with hard work i can do anytjing I enjoyed every moment here. I think the most chalenging at my work is dealing with procurders to make sure im doing my job right. My family is all down in port elizabeth. Thats why i wanna relocate
