Big company that has potential and you learn more.

It is such a great place to work at. my belief is that you create your own happiness at a working place. The company has values and principles its up to people not to comply with those. The most challenging aspect for me is that a person is judged by appearance not his or her capabilities. I have learned a lot though and team work is being encouraged. I enjoy interacting with suppliers, stores and customers because the keep me at my toes.

Pros: No there is no opportunity such as growth
Cons: Working hours are perfect

Excellent learning curve

Everyday is different with different challenges and achievements. Excellent trust relationship with all of my staff and colleagues we work well together as a team.

Pros: Great opportunity for in-depth business knowledge
Cons: It being at Branch level there isn’t much career growth since our head office is based in Cape Town

Great

Working for building company as a debtors team leader leads a team of 6 working for 24 stores. Overseeing debtors department to make sure everything goes smooth. Need to collect debt everyday. Working with credit application and assisting sales people.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotions
Cons: Travel arrangements
