Excellent learning curve

Was nice working with different kinds of people and different characters learn from each an every person. The company was taking care of its employees. I had a good relationship with my colleagues. I learned how to react in an awkward situation or in a difficult challenging day.I learned how to deal or come up with solutions in a bad situation.It wasn't exactly the challenge because I was enjoying myself knowing that I have made an impact from my side to the company if we are short staff but still have to reach the daily department target.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotions.
Cons: Long working hours but for a good course

Typical day at work

We work in the regulatory space. Interact a lot with various risk support departments as well as external clients which I enjoy. The challenges I am facing currently is that I am an Internal Auditor by heart and enjoy thinking out the box trying new things and currently it is not that easy in the regulatory space.

Excellent exposure in central bank

Extensive exposure in financial markets, financial services,manufacturing of banknotes and coin, captive insurance company, SAMOS payments system, portfolio management, government auctions and Reserve Bank auctions.

Pros: exposure to all departments, good work life balance, good culture,fairly remunerated
Cons: delayed responses to audit findings by client department

Excellent learning opportunities

It is a great company to work for, during the past year i have learned a lot it a great environment to learn and they give you opportunity to grow and their team work is amazing the support they give is simply amazing. It's a sad thing that my contract is ending if it wasn't that i wasn't going tob because i loved their work ethic.

Clear good governance in place

Projects managed include system development projects using the SDLC - using PMBOK and Agile methodologies, business process re-engineering as well as IT infrastructure projects. With a background in project configuration and document management, strong project administration, governance and project management. This has always served me well over the years in my career and greatly assisted me get continuous clean audits in all projects worked on and ensured successful project delivery.

Cons: No easy up on dress code atleast Fridays
