Sephaku Cement Reviews

Excellent learning curve.

Production forms an integral part of our organization. It has been a great learning curve for me to have been given an opportunity to be instrumental in ensuring the continuous uninterrupted supply of our raw materials in order to produce cement and meet customer orders. I enjoy building and strengthening relationships internally or with suppliers. I perform monthly stock take to account for stock on hand, consumed material or loss within the specified time period, it is quite a challenge to effectively complete this task within set projected time, in spite of that said, the team-work and level of competence of fellow colleagues has proved to be vital in any project given to me.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion.
Cons: Work is too far from my family (220 km away)

Maintenence team always share ideas and tackle problems together as a unit. Shut down projects are always a challenge as you normally have to work alone with an assistant while the time limit is a challenge

The team is small, therefore there's massive exposure

I work in a very fast paced environment. I get along with my colleagues and clients. There's blame game most of the time hence I learnt to put staff in writing as one need to prove themselves most of the time. My clients are very challenging when it comes to subject matter and that pushed me to read more and be on top of my game all the time. My managers do not always give answers to questions, at times I have to figure it out myself in order to give answers. I enjoy the challenge, its a pity that there's very limited to none opportunities for growth.

Pros: The team is small, therefore there's massive exposure
Cons: Long working hours, definitely no time to knock- off
