Exelent training and promotions

working for sandvik is very challenging and that's what inspires me the most,im always eager to go to work because I learn new things everyday at work. I am self supervised with my colleagues and we are a team which makes extra efforts on our daily duties. I have learned to work with different kind of people who have different prospectives.again I have gained experience in different mobile and trackless mining machines. I take my job very seriously on a daily basis and I enjoy the communication with my team as we understand each other very well. The most challenging aspect of this job is when the client is in need of something that you don't have at that moment and I must make means that the client gets what is wanted.

EHS Management

I am an outgoing, well-presented and active individual. I deal with individuals at a professional level. I am well spoken, I see myself as a hard worker and fast learner. I can deal with stress, deadlines and meeting targets. I am target driven, motivated and flexible in approach to change and deal with situations. I am a team player, but can also work unsupervised. I am computer literate and have excellent IT understanding. I have great communication skills and can prioritize and organize wide range of tasks and meetings. I have worked in the EHS department for more than 10 years in various fields, such as oil & gas, petrochemical, engineering, civil, construction and mining.

Customer service

I have leant that customers come first, the main aim of the company should always be to serve the customer as best as they can, If a customer is not happy the company will not make profit

Pros: Sandvik has great oppotunities for Promotion and i one of the emplyees who were promoted when i started i was eployeed as a warehouse operator/storeman and i got a protion within a year i then became a logistics administrator, and they are always willing to enrich us in knowledge because when you want to study they provide fees for you to better yourself as long as its relevent to the department that you are working in
Cons: working hour are normal, if you work more hours you are compensated for overtime

Willing to learn

a day at work we start at 05h00 am in the morning until 16h30 in the afternoon we do maintenance and we attend break downs. my relationship with my co-workers is is good we use our company co-values eg team spirit ,innovation, collaboration, one goal so working together we can achieve more. i have learnt a lot from my co workers and and how to do fault findings and trouble shooting and how to maintain our equipment what i enjoy most is the challenges we face on daily basis especially on break downs on the production line eg the equipment is standing an that means no production . and we have to do fault findins and trouble shooting we get it right.

Great exposure to company hierarchies

I was exposed to different levels in the company, from stores to warehouse, to workshop working on machines, to working underground on mine production.

Excellent learner

On cv my cover letter. I learn very quickly,and like to grow in a company. No little bit of microsoft and program named Aurora.. I would like to be given a fair chance,to show I can learn anything. Sandvik is all over the world and exists more than 60 years

Eye opening and intimidating

I started to work at Sandvik as a storeman, then sent to a warehouse as both a receiving and dispatch clerk, and taken to mines to work on the machines as artisan assistant.

Dear Sir/Madam

I am Godwill Ndumela Mbatha age 27, I worked for Sandvik as Pick pack , General Lobour and Dispatch, the company close down 2014 . I am a hardworking individual and a team player. I am looking for an opportunity to start working and I could start immediately.

Pros: I am always on time, I like to start working as early as I get to work, pick packing I enjoyed, because I was working alone surrounding with people have the some mission.
Cons: Lifting the heavy objects ,but it have to be done
