Learning curve

As a receptionist i have learnt that i am the face of the company and i have to give everyone who comes in good service to represent my company in a good way,i have learnt to be patient because i work with different people everyday, to deal with difficult clients. i have learnt to have good communication skills as well. The most thing that i enjoy in the reception is to get the opportunity to meet different people. The most challenging aspects of the job -Dealing with an angry client/customer -Sometimes placing orders and not receive from supplier -When the lines are bad,you have to repeat questions because you cannot hear some of the things properly -When the client needs to speak to someone maybe that person's line is busy -When you ask your co-worker to contact clients and they forget, when that person calls again he/she becomes angry with you thinking that you didn't pass their message

Pros: You get to meet a lot of people
Cons: it is pretty easy to end up doing things you didn't sign up for
