A serious eye opener
Having to build a new division from the bottom was challenging. One has to deal with blue collar and white collar employees daily. This requires a different style of management for the two parties yet maintaining consistency. I have learnt to be more patient, diplomatic and my level of problem solving and creativity has increased intensely. The most challenging aspect of the job has been getting people to understand that you will only what you sew, and as a result the company is in the position it is in as they are going through a section 189 retrenchment exercise.
Pros: Working with dynamic and diverse individuals.
Cons: Hard headed and stubborn senior management.

Excellent opportunities to learn
I have gained experience and knowledge of the telecom experience in dealing with clients and the process of project administration and both on large to specialised projects. I have got along with my work colleagues and managers very well and provided them with assistance when ever they needed and even if they needed further assistance i was willing to help outside my working hours. i enjoyed the team i worked with and the spirit of working harder to ensure projects were completed ahead of schedule. Most challenging was meeting deadlines, with my ability to plan out my work schedule and multitask i always found ways and methods to complete before the deadline.

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE
My relationship with my co-workers was above board and i have learned so much in that position,respect ,willingness to learn and working to the extreme.i enjoyed working in groups mostly.The most challenging part is when the deadlines are approaching and everyone is on their feet working hard and sweating to show commitment on the project done.

There is so much to learn and no room for growth
I also bring to the table strong computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and design applications and a National diploma in electrical , currently also doing b-tech on a part time basis, I also have first aid training, firefighting, risk assessment, as-build, surveys, digital electronics, fault finding , DC voltage, rectifiers, defensive driving, working at heights, Rf awareness training . Perfect training
I do enjoy the field work even though sometimes I come across some heavy challenges but after winning over those challenges I become more happy and proud for myself.
