Looking foward to study Phase

working in sa taxi things are owesome working here, there are lots of fun in terms of team building (playing games to freshen up our minds and motivatining us to archive organisation`s goal. my co-workers are supportive to every little difficulties one might encounter in life, we share most things together they are not judgemental but supportive. most challenge is when you have to cost so many jobcards and you still have so many quotations on your desk and client are calling with regards to their claims if they have been submitted , so you sometimes gets frustrations and you will have to take a decision as to which one must start with, for my side put clients first, if the vehicle is standing at the repair and they cannot do anything before purchase order, then I gues I will have to create claims for these vehicles to b e out of the workshop quickly as our turn around time is 2day to get the vehicle back on the road.

Pros: working to become manager one day
Cons: 9 hours at times

Learn more things in Business industry

I've learnt more in Sa Taxi company especially to have faith in what you are doing and to trust your self to be calm in harsh person or clients ,To face difficulties clients and to resolve that issues that the client come with in a smooth way ,we were working as a team and we were like friends even my Manager. i have enjoy when we were going in Head office we were different like we were having Coloured, Blacks, Whites etc it was nice.

Pros: I was started working at Sa taxi as a clearner for 3 days a week, after 2 months they put me in reception i was so excited but the thing is i don't know nothing about working in receptionist, One day my Manager told me that one day is one day and she gave me hope i was scared but after one to two weeks i was amazing i was doing the job the way as it is because she teach me the way that i have to understand i know more today i have learnt more today because of Sa taxi, i know how to type , how Capture report, how to arrange Couriers, to Filling up dairy register, to attand to clients query, to great clients and ascertain the purpose of their visit in order to assist them, i gain more knowledge in Sa taxi finance
Cons: I was working from 8 o'clock to 4 o'oclock the time was fine

Its a good organization

The environment is good despite that many of the people in management are new or do not have much experience in the insurance and they are a bit resistant to change. There was no SOP’S when I joined the company had to introduce it. The insurance dept is new and a lot still need to be done to improve processes to service our client better.

Pros: no opportunity for growth as there is a bit of resistance to change
Cons: we putting more long hours as a lot still need to be done to proffessionalize our processes to meet TCF

Excellent learning opportunity to discover more of my abilities

I have a commerce background which makes it easy for me to work in any finance department. I have worked at SPM accountants and auditors as a trainee clerk , worked as a Data capturer at Quest Research, worked as a Fulfilment Administrator at SA taxi finance and I am currently a partner relation consultant at SA taxi finance. I have good communication and computer skills and hard working ,learning is my speciality because I can work under pressure. Excellent learning curve

Some days can be slow. This is a very unique industry. The industry has its challenges, but over all the work I am doing requires agility as the environment is ever changing. The position I occupy requires excellent leadership skills as well as negotiating skills.

Pros: Very nice people
Cons: Taxi strikes disruptive

Strong character, hard and smart worker

I work with a group of people.b The book that we work for is very hard we are dealing with difficult clients but with the help of each other we make it possible to reach target. We have a common goal which is to succed and be the best employees of the whole company so the pressure one is feeling is everyones.

My company finances public transportation my company finances public transportation and provide insurance to our customers. We have our own dealership where companies and customers comeand buy cars straight from us rather thn going to an external dealership

Excellent learning curve

Working at SA taxi has been a very exciting experience, engaging with new people everyday, working at a company as a whole like from 1 department to another made my days at SA taxi very welcoming because you end up knowing everybody in your company.
