Lots of opportunity to utilise and implement first world organisation strategies and best practises

Working at this organisation which is a small business with steady growth has given me the opportunity to implement my rich knowledge gained in first world companies. As this is a family owned business with limited staff in the top structure, we work very close together and agree on most if not all decisions. It is therefore imperative that one fits into the corporate culture of the company. Working for this organisation has highlighted the need to be financially conservative and patient. I do appreciate the unlimited scope in implementing lean manufacturing practices and exercising my experience at large. Some of the challenges we face is been a job shop and therefore having a very erratic schedule to satisfy. This is however overcome with analytical planning and market monitoring.

Excellent Learning curve

A typical day would start with checking if the server, internet and network all up and running ok then running routine reports and making sure all backups were successful. Then handle any queries, computer/printer/devise support if there are any urgent matters. Then it depends if I had any projects to work on like report writing, installing and testing software or giving training to employees. I have learnt system work, networking, fixing hardware and software - I have learnt how to deal with people who are stressed because of computers that do not work properly and to stay calm under pressure. I enjoyed that it is a challenge issues are sometimes hard and sometimes they are quick fixes ,I also enjoyed working with people and getting new problems usually meant learning something new. Most challenging was to prioritize because while wanting to help everyone ,helping them at the same time is not possible.

Pros: Good company - care about people - good opportunity to get promoted
Cons: Takes a long time to get that promotion

Need more growth and experience

With professional work ethics one can go far, if if there aren't any then many people start leaving. To focus on what's Infront of you and work excellent in every task given you can't go wrong.

Excellent learning curve

Good morning, I would like to apply for the position posted as Receptionist as I have the experience, knowledge and skills accumulated during my years of work in reception and administration. I am already doing all the requirements you need for the past 4years. Working well with others within the office is second nature and keeping everyone happy with the work produced timeously and promptly. People I work with enjoy my positive nature and services I deliver.
