Great exposure to various fields, linear management and growth structure

You have a relatively set plan day-to-day, the real rush comes when there are new launches, seasonal changes and monthly photo shoots. Everyone is very accepting and there is no bias or discrimination. I have learnt that working hard gets your recognized and that you have to be willing to give in to the seniors. I enjoy my interaction with store staff as I came from there; it is nice to hear what their frustrations are and how I in head office can alleviate their stresses. The most stressful or challenging part of the job is when everything happens all at once and you are running in a frenzy trying to juggle the multitude of task. This is where good time management comes in.

Pros: great exposure to various areas within the business, ability to travel to stores
Cons: narrow mind set of years before, no actual growth

Providing good customer service

Workers are under paid, and we work hard to get the money that we are receiving. The company makes money but the staff is always complaining. If we open accounts and laybyes that's when we get recognized. I love retail but this company made me feel a bit discouraged.

Pros: Good benefits if working hard
Cons: Underpaid

Good opportunities

From day one you feel like you have a family Team work is encouraged and everyone cares about the next person's well being. Work load is not too much, manageable when compared to other retailers. I just don't like the way staff complains are handled. I feel we can do better and the benefits can be improved too minimise losing hard workers. I love the nursery system, it has helped a lot of people coming from previously disadvantage families, I am one of them and very proud to have earned that privilege.

Pros: Education opportunities
Cons: Instability

Working at Queenspark is great opportunity for me to grow and learn more in the field of retail

Working at Queenspark is an amazing opportunity for me to grow as an individual and learn more in the field of retail. Coming to work knowing you are given a chance to put a smile on someone's face by assisting them find whatever they looking for and put a smile on their faces. My co-workers makes it possible to work with and we work well as a team, we're like a small family aimed at making a turnover and keeping our customers happy. I have learned a in the company and gained a lot of skills like team work, customer service, Problem solving, Stock loss management, daily admin, operating point of sale and house keeping. The most challenging thing about my work is the amount hours I work I find it difficult to manage since we work 5hours a day for 3-4 days a week.

Pros: Great learning and opportunity to grow
Cons: Less working hours

Good company to grow

Good company to work for just the current economy in our country is limiting chances of growth....If there was more growth for me I would still love to work for the company and also they don't have 13th cheque which is something I would love to get one day..

Pros: Skills developed
Cons: No growth anymore
