I would like an opportunity to work in other companies and grow as a microbiologist.

I do raw material and finished products specifications, supplier questionnaire as well as 15 pager product specifications. This has been a great learning curve in my career, being exposed to all the departments in the company including the micro laboratory where my passion and excellency lies. I enjoyed the proficiency tests most as well as shelf-life trials conducted for new and existing products in the company and working closely with Woolworths technologists to ensure products meet legal requirements as well as micro before they could reach the customer.

Pros: This is where I gained all my experience.
Cons: 7am to 5pm

Not doing what I signed up for

I have a great relationship with my coworkers however instead of doing what I signed up for in my contract, I spend most of the time doing general work. There is no growth

Review

I had an amazing 10 years at Qk Meats as an invoicing and administrative clerk and receptionist I have learnt a lot regarding accurate invoicing and mostly dealing with private issues and clients A typical day can be defined as having to meet my deadlines 2 times a week and I made sure it happened that way always I enjoyed working with top managers and being rewarded for my hard work

Pros: Being promoted from receptionist to an invoicing clerk in finance department
Cons: Working on Sundays till late

Excellent learning curve

Excellent company in terms of exposure and gaining experience in all various departments, if up for a task can be given huge responsibilities but the issue comes when n they have to pay a fair salary for the responsibilities undertaken

Excellent working curve

I am currently employed as a Production assistance, whereby I analyse daily production yields and associate them with cost to get the true value of our input. I am also doing shifts planning and also involved in quality control and internal audits. I am interested in a challenging environment that foster growth. I feel this is where my analytical skills and love for numbers and finance will be best utilized, not only for the good of the company but also for our country.

Excelent Yeild balancing skill

Learning curve

Typical work day daily is patience when dealing with staff as individually we come with different background and culture that has no schooling background some are still battling to read and write , but has an understanding what it needed from them at the end of each day, mostly i enjoy seeing my grown with my presentation skills as i believe will help a lot in my career path
