Promising

Great team work. Friendly colleagues & staff. Overseeing of sales staff & general management of retail store. Ensure sales targets are met & exceeded, great incentives for reaching targets. Good basic salary for sales staff. Poor annual increases. Bad motivation & involvement from top level management. Zero value & recognition for staff, i.e: low career security.,

Pros: good basic remuneration
Cons: Long working hours, Low chance of promotion

Awesome learning opportunities

It's always great to work with clients s of different calibre. Working with stock, the challenge it brings is an awesome learning curve. To mentor others and rear them to their fullest abilities, something extremely satisfying.

I HAVE LEARN A LOUD OF THING .WE ARE WORKING GOOD AND WE HAVE MAKE OUR SELF TARGET FOR THE MONTH IF THE COMPANY SEND US THE BURGET FOR THE MONTH WE SET OUR SELF BURGET IF THEY NEED R700 00 WE MAKE MORE WE DONT DO THE TARGET THAT THEY GIVE US BECOUSE WE LOVE TO WORK AS TEAM .IF THERE ARE FOOTBALL GAME IN RUSTENBURG OR ANYWHERE WE TAKE SOME OF OUR CUSTOMER WE BUY THEM FOOD AND DRINKS .IS HOW WE MAKE FRIND W IN BUSINESS WE LIKE TO MAKE HUNTING WHEN WINTER COME WITH CUSTOMER S.THE MOST CHALLENGING THAT WE HAVE IS WHEN WE COMING TO THE PHONE CALL WE NEED TO PHONE 20 CUSTOMER A DAY AND WE WHITE THE REPORT TO THE HEAT OFFICE EVERY DAY

Excellent learning curve

Working at plumblink it has thought me to independent solve any customer issues,problems ,time consuming to deliver to customers & keep the customer satisfied no matter what is the issue. My responsibility was to do perpetual stock, high risk stock , receiving stock & ordering stock.contract sales was part of my responsibility looking for contractors who are doing jobs so can I assist them with materials they gonna need to complete the job.

Lot of work but no money

I take lots of stock from receiving to the shelves, I do bin maintenance on daily basis and I have to replanish. And also do housekeeping before I can leave warehouse but still at the end of a day I don't get any recognition.

Pros: Warehouse supervisor
Cons: 8 hours a day
