I graduated in November from the North-West University Potchefstroom with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science. I am currently working for Planet Fitness in Meadowdale as the Group Exercise Manager.

Nice company only problem is working hours and there is no opportunity for growth in the company. Favouritism is noticed

Excellent opportunity to learn

Opening or closing of the gym. Make sure all other staff have arrived for their shift`. Do a club "Fussy" walk checking if the previous manager closed gym by checking equipment, cleanliness, and all other facility issues. Report issues to maintenance, cleaning and club manager . Check club stocks on consumables and maintenance items - procure if levels are low. Staff training (managers and other staff) Customer liaison attending to customer account issues. Assist members on the floor training Weekly auditing on facility

Wonderful learning opportunities

The company overall is an excellent opportunity for career growth. Getting to work at 6am to compile my banking that needs to be submitted by 8 which I am done with by 6:45 then ill be starting with my daily figures which needs to submitted by 12 to the auditor once that is done start with my filling and assistaninget with members and other departments.

Good learning curve

I love working there it is a great company to work for however im hungry for growth. I would love to grow within my current company too but unfortunately I was unsuccessful in most of the positions I applied for

Cons: Salary too low to provide for my standard of living and im a student who pays her own fees
