Skills and to have more experience and access to information

It was a great experience since it was intern ship I learn a lot, it is amazing to go out meet new people learn new things being involve with different cultures, how to control your self in a place of work how to overcome challenges at work, how to work as team, what I enjoy the most is to work up in the morning have something to do and to learn new things meet people, the most challenging is to go to work to another department without any idea how to do that job and how are you going to work who is going to help you to understand their system.

Typical Working Condition

The people are good and everyone pitches in when theres a breakdown so its a good working enviroment but there is no room for growth an no training, they respect religion to an extent, and the site is not far from central town which makes it easy to to get to work and not worry about too bad traffic.

Pros: Great Exposure
Cons: Long Hours at times with no Allowances and no double time and 1.5 overtime

PG BISON PIET RETIEF

Mostly i do maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment during the day. Eg fault finding. Wire panels. Do mechanical duties and helping mechanical team. I have a good relationship with with my co-workers. I have learnt to work as a team and alone during break down. I enjoy socialising with my colleagues in order to have a good working inviromenent. The most challenging aspects is to work under pressure but I am cool and good when it comes to working under pressure, even my forman has highly recommend me when working under pressure.

Pros: I am allways willing to learn new things and skills
Cons: I don't have problems with working long hours.

Exploring new things

Team work person,goal driven,always willing to learn new things and I like to come across challenges so that they can test my strength and knowledge,I like to listen more than talking,the most challenging thing in my life is to do something that I wasn't instructed to do and my most fear factor is failure

Learning curve

You are an office worker, 8 hours per day. The culture is not great. Relationships with co-workers are based on how long you've been at the company. Tasks are very operational.

Pros: Learnt lots of hands on skills

Exellent company

I have done preventative maintenance and plc fault finding.I have worked with good artisans where I learned lots from them.what i have enjoyed is learning new things each and everyday

Fast think

My company as large environment to study more about engineering I also gain more experience about my field in pg bison.the also tech me how to work under pressure if the is break down. I am fast learner n hard work at the same time I will like to get tht opportunity to grow myself as young artisan in anything company tht will give m tht opportunity
