Ecellent learning company

in the company we concider safty first ,good in communication with the supervisors, lot of things I have learned like before you work a permit to work must be discussed the safety authorization and the risks that may happen and how should you prevent them from happening and a one should always be alert, inspection of the tools that you are going to use. when you are finish with the work always report to the supervisor if the work is done or it still need continued

Communication is key amongst colleauges, morning meetings to make sure we all on the same page. New ideas and problem solving, very dynamic atmosphere. Working through challenges together to get things done, transparancy in the workplace. Exciting to experience a project that comes to a succesfull end.

Excellent curve

It prove comprehensive knowledge, skills and attitude. Being exposed to such a big company like Petroleum Oil and Gas known as PetroSA is such good experience, working with qualified Artisans, Professional Technician and engineers. I enjoyed working there is such a good work place to work to

I create an open policy relationship with team

I try to have an open policy relationship with my Manager, Colleagues and in order to easily achieve project deadlines I will report the truth to them even if the truth is going to comprise. I give correct and accurate feedback and action plan with firm dates and deliverables. I hold my team accountable by delegating clear responsibilities and agree on commitment. I focus on developing a good relationship with key stakeholders. The challenging part of my work is working with dishonest people .I hold people accountable for their work by having clear instruction and expectations.

Advance learning

I work hydraulics and pneumatics, repair pumps, install bearings, install v belts, maintain compressors, maintain gear box, attend breakdown, do standby, I work as team player co operate with my teammates. I enjoy to work on pumps and hydraulics including gear box. my most challenges is on hydraulics but I make shore I am winner when I m doing my job. I also do monthly routines and inspection of plant. all the information , I wrote here is highly truth. should you fin my application please recommend me as first priority.

Pros: i would like great oppotunity to grow.

Excellent learning curve

Working at PetroSA it is a great exposure and learning curve to start building one engineering career.It has mostly everything equipment and machinery, it is highly fast and precise engineering company that have all the branches to learn and contribute your skills .As such it mostly an eco friendly and with a warmly people that respect each other regardless.I have enjoyed every on the organization.

Excellent learning curve

It is good to work for PetroSA though at the moment the company is facing difficulties like any petroleum company due to economic conditions. Attend production meeting , follow up on production requests, checking results , batching of final products. I have a good relationship with co-workers. At the moment I am learning Fuel specialist functions which were added to mine as a result of person retired early this year. I am enjoying this part as I take it as a development on my career though its challenging as there was no handover.

Pros: Fuel specialist functions broaden my scope
Cons: There are no remuneration for added responsibilities

Exellent

I worked as mechanical engineering technician in training, i was ensuring reliability and maintainability of all mechanical equipment/machinery in the PetroSA running plants to make sure that production takes place by troubleshooting, testing equipment and repairing piping systems.

Pros: take care of emplyoees
Cons: huge work load
