My review
I am currently working straight shift even though sometimes I have to change shifts depending on operational requirements. I try to give staff off during the week on the days when the production volume isn't high to avoid going to overtime.
Pros: The fact that the company gave me an opportunity of being in the position as this is my first experience in the title of Production Manager.
Cons: Work on weekends when i am doing standby duties

A new experience
A typical day at Parmalat in my position as Assistant Accountant includes checking and signing off on creditors payments. I also follow up with vendors on all outstanding invoices. I also prepare the budget files for all the managers of the different departments. I am also responsible for handling the Assets and keeping a Work in progress file for all the projects on site. During month end I am responsible for balancing of the Intercompany accounts and all the ledger entries. I also assists with stocktake on month end. I also monitor all expenses against the budget and if it is allocated to the right vote and department.
Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Not much growing

I have learned more skills. Skills must be given to each ,so work can easy for everyone.
I worked hard for changes and challenges of the company. I encourage my co workers to have ideas that can make work easy for workers and company. I enjoy open minded people that make easy work for everyone.
Pros: I do have chances or opportunity to be promoted as Supervisor.

Great place to start a career
working at Parmalat is great. learning new things everyday. I am always trying to make work easier for the oncoming shift. and it is a pleasure to work with my team at the moment.

Ensure fully paid accounts within the prescribed time period and investigating claims/Queries Have a wonderful relationship with my co-workers they are my family. I have learnt that the customer is always right you have to listen & understand customers priority. To deal with all independent's customers and to sort out queries & Complaints on individual accounts. To collect debtors book and to reach your goal.
Pros: There is no oppertunity in parmalat to grow

I have a btech in Operations Management which I obtained through NMMU in 2014. I have also completed a National Diploma in Production and Operations Management which I obtained through NMMU in 2006.

Great to move forward
my days at Parmalat is usually quite busy, mostly 9 hours of work for an 8 hour day. co workers is exactly what they are, but we do have a good working relationship. Parmalat have teached me a lot about working in a FMCG environment actually I enjoy just working here My managers is my greatest challenge

Great Learning experience
Very challenging day to day job, because of short shelf life products, different maturation / incubation times to take into account. Keeping some Suppliers on their toes wrt overdue deliveries. Communication and teamwork across the board. Treat all levels with the same respect. Best feeling when Weekly / Monthly Targets are met.
Pros: Great co-workers and working environment
Cons: Salary below Market related
