A Good Innings

I worked in the Accounts Payable department, and with Old Mutual being such a Mega company, we had to push production in order to meet payment deadlines. I would process about 100 to 150 invoices for payment on a daily basis. We worked on the Oracle EBS Financial suite and it had it's fair share of system issues. I have a great relationship with my co-workers and I have to admid not all of them were team players. I have learnt that patience is not always rewarded and with the correct leadership no goal will be un unattainable. What I enjoyed the most about Old Mutual was the culture and diversity of each and every co-worker. I have found the lack of communication and transparency a real challenge.

Pros: Excellent eployee wellbeing programmes
Cons: Lack of accountability of direct reports as well a no room for growth
