Quite challenging yet experiencing journey.

My day starts 7:30, I do daily calibration, read results, record them, and check out the working environment. Then do the daily analysis of samples, in between there's a tea time and lunch, which makes it easier for us to interact. I also receive samples check out if they're in good condition or not. I do filing. I do log books record daily. The challenge is when the samples are brought later which makes it difficult for my daily schedule. I enjoyed food analysis.

Career Growth

Extremely busy days with challenging end users. You learn both formal acquisition and contracts management. Small Medium Micro Enterprises and as well as emerging micro enterprises cause a challenge to the work environment. Great relationship with the colleagues

Exellent learning curve

I have 4 years experience working in an Electricity Distribution Organization as an Electrical Planning Technician being responsible for project managing the electrification of informal settlements, planning and designing of LV and MV electrical networks, design HV and MV substation layout, compiling of MV Master Plan reports, electrical network analysis and investigating the application of supply by the customers. I am also a registered Professional Engineering Technician (Pr Techni Eng) – Reg no. 201630312.

Slow development and upliftment

The municipality is a typical public sector where politicians want to run the administration process. Directors delay paperwork and processes. Directors have their own agenda's as most of the senior managers act in the position. Due to this the institution is not stable. As an individual I try my best to keep my work up to date and administration.

I'm.diverse person who works well in different teams.i like calling work that will not make sit 50 percent of my day.i am good in supply chain , logistics and financial management. Great work place with family values and well structured.

It’s place with less opportunities for growth and as young individuals I seek such. Typical work day is 12 hours long . My team members we have great relations and we work well together. I have learnt a lot about safety in terms of fire related incidents and also how to give safety lectures to community Ed . I enjoy rescuing people from vehicle incidents .the challenge I often encounters is a way forward to up-skill and to study further .

I love working with people and my job is to photocopy, book shelving, cleaning

I work with different people and they have self esteem that is good, i do photocopying, book shelving and cleaning. I enjoy having myself being around people and interact with them.

Pros: it is to be honest and be truthful to the customers and that you should not be big headed.
