I have acquired much experience since working for National Department of Health

I have learn a lot since working for the National Department of Health, I am able to assist in reviewing Regulations and Legislations, Working along expertise in the field of Environmental Health and Port Health is very motivating and aspiring. Attending flights at OR Tambo International Airport for Yellow Fever and Malaria inspection was a big challenge for me because you have to act accordingly and do the wright thing My relationship with co-worker is awesome in my managers i learn a lot from them everyday they dont treat me like a juniour. Currrently i am veryfying export and import permits for human remains its nice easy job

Pros: there is great opportunity for development for employees
Cons: I work normal hour 8am to 4pm

I’m an employee who is able to determine whether problem is related to hardware or software .I have excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server, operating systems and software. I have excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent knowledge of unwanted programs on a server and desktop i.e. spyware, malware I have Excellent knowledge of hardware components and hardware troubleshooting procedures (desktops and servers). I know how to work with Server hardware systems such as RAID, Tape Drives. Good knowledge of Backup software, devices, (and NTBackup) troubleshooting.

Great opportunity ton learn and grow

I'm working for National Department of Health as Port Health Officer at Caledonspoort Border Post we have a great team work with other departments such as SARS, HOME AFFAIRS , SAPS and our Lestho counter part with regard to controlling and processing consignments. The Border gives me a great exposure as far as SHE work is concerned because there is Water and Sewega purification ,Contractor, Travellers and Employees that I should monitor, inspect , ensure compliance with OHSACT,ISO 14001,ISO 18001,ISO 22000

Interacting with clients on a daily basis

Excellent learning curve Interacting with clients at a daily basis Clients are always right Good Communication is important Learning different personalities of collegues and clients Learning different financial govermental systems

I learned to corparate with ather colleagues to make our daily duties simple and clean

Im currently working in the chemistry laboratory were we receive many members of south african police services in a day with totally diffrent languages. For the past years that i worked here i worked with difficult colleagues some who are not willing to team up with others for simple work and personal related matters although i ejoyed working here as i learned to be alert at all the times at work as im security officer.

Pros: Very slim due to educational background as i had to drop out at the university due to financial mdifficulties
Cons: We managed to change departmental shedules which was 06:00 -18:00 to 06:00 -16:00 as team work
