I have learned how to work in a team as well as an individual

I have learned that its important to plan for the job before it done , when working as a team its important to discuss everything about the job that would help every one to be clear of what is happening in the field . To plan and discuss job description will help to finish the work in time and do the quality work . I have learned how to work in a team with different people as well as work as individual . the most challenging aspects of the job was by the time we have to do the new installation of electricity on the area where there is no power at all .underground faults where we have to trench a long distance an very dip for cable that was the most challenging because the place have stones and rocky.

Excellent,learning curves

I hII work 6 days per week.and my colleagues like to work with me because I treat them as a human beig.I also learn a lot to them and there's a lot of challenges I face with every day at work because we deal with a customers.sometimes they do not see things in a equal way.but at really I like to work with people becausr of my pattion that I have have a good relationships with my co workers. Everything i do I make sure that I've done properlye a good

GOOD LEARNING EXPERIENCE THUS FAR

I HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO-WORKERS A TYPICAL DAY INVOLVES ALOT OF RUNNING AROUND BUT AT THE SAME TIME I AM ABLE TO LEARN DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS. I HAVE LEARNT THE IMPORTANCE OF ALWAYS PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL, HOW TO PREPARE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS AND REPORTS AND ALSO DATA CAPTURING I ENJOY INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE, LEARNING NEW THINGS EVERYDAY MY JOB DOES NOT HAVE A CHALLENGING ASPECT AT THE MOMENT

Mentorship programs were available constantly

Working at Msunduzi Municipality was a great learning experience since i worked with the public and i got to learn more about customer service. Career upgrade was the first priority that Superiors had in mind

Self improvement under difficult conditions

It's been a tough and hard learnt g curve working in the front lines of communications. Receiving all the dissatisfaction if consumers first handtime. That comes with all the swearing and attacking. It makes one appreciate more the value of a proper communications channel with weather employers and employees. Communication is the heart of anythe organization and it needs people Who are passionate about their work and can executive their duties to the bestowes of their ability. And I he learnt all thay and more. And have grown as a communicator

Pros: The toughness of the environment makes one want to improve in allthe aspects of their work
Cons: Indeed working shifts of 12 hours is a strainsyndicate.

A tipical day at work

I start work at 8 in the morning and we have a small prayer. We sit in an open space, where is eight of us. Each performing different roles that are linked. I havd gained a lot of experience in peoples skills and I learned to deal with different personalities and approches when it comes to end users and our clients. I have this great fulfillment in finishing my tasks within time. I however still have a void that i need to fill in terms of growth.

I'm currently a Manager for assets at Msunduzi Municipality supervising 10 employees. I'm a hardworking person who is able to take initiative, goes extra mile and very focus.

Pros: Gain new exposure
Cons: I normally want to finish what I've started, get motivated, monitor staff output. I'm striving towards realising organizational goals and objectives.

Exciting place to work with growth opportunities

I work for the Msunduzi municipality in Pietermaritzburg. It is quite an exciting environment mostly politically oriantated wich gives an opportunity to learn from different spectrum which corporate and political perspectives. I enjoy each and every moment of my life there having to encounter different challenges and individuals with one goal which is to deliver services to the local communities.
