Strong commercial accument, teamplayer, Contractual experience

I am currently in the tendering/ proposals department within a small team. Meeting deadlines are paramount in my current role. In the 5 years + at Metso I have learnt contracts (e.g. FIDIC, NEC3) quite well. I enjoy in particular commercial negotiations with our clients. I consider myself to be a team player and work with whatever people to secure business for the company. The most challenging aspects are dealing with high workload and timeline deliverables.

Great employer to work for

Its a great company to work for. Being the 1st lady to be employed in the plant and to give orders has been very challenging at the beginning at the very same time my leadership skills has improves as I had to make decisions everyday. My senior always reminded me that I have the final say over the managers and team leaders so in my position you must be a good decision maker.what makes metso different from other companies is the fact that employees had to do self review everyday,voice out their concern pertaining to health and safety and we protect one another ensuring zero harm to all.

Excellent learning curve

The employees are open for learning as well as they teach you new tricks on how to machine the jobs given to you. The working environment is also a good one as it has high standards of safety
