Company for the people

My job is very challenging but exciting at the same time. I work eight and a half hours shift. We are very busy especially towards the month-end. I enjoy working with my colleagues. We are one big team.

Learning curve

Wit was agreat place to work at,learnt a few thinlearn management skills,learning that people are diversified so if there is any issu you must be strategiv on how uou handle issues within the team so that we are able to achieve as a a team and as a company.as muvh as one had to do their work for great work we need to work together.also learnt that the client needs to be updated with their cases timelisy even if one doesnt have the finsl feedback just to keep them updated.gs whike there??

enjoy every aspect of my job ,Service rendering to staff and partnering with business

Experience at current workplace

My current role entails a lot of administration. We have system that could help but are not fully functional. I do at least 5 to 6 reports per quarter and sometimes per month and all of this is manual. I co-ordinate training venues and catering. I have a good relationship with the team. I do feel limited as I am not learning anything new from my previous company. There is favoritism which limits my career. The challenge is that I had remote access from home and could work when there is a crisis and catch up whilst on leave but now you literally have to come into the office whilst on leave if there is a crisis. The company has potential for future development but resources are limited which limits the individual to grow.

Cons: no break from the office even whilst on leave, no scope for growth

Excellent learning curve and room for growth

A good place for you start in with multiple opportunities. The place provides good mentoring programs which have allowed me to grow and the executives offer good support for growing. Good salary packages and incentives.

Excellent Career Growth

Mercantile Bank provided me with excellent career growth oppurtunities. A typical day at work would include sorting out an array of queries. I have a great relation ship with most co workers I have learnt to be tolerant and resilient towards work as well well co - workers the most challenging is the fact that due to my role and personality I find myself involved or assisting departments or consultants who do not report to me.

Learning growth

My Relationship with co-workers is good as i am a friendly and easily approachable person. i have learnt much more than i expected in the field of Banking or foreign exchange field, there's still more to learn. what i enjoyed the most is making my clients happy at all times, being there when they need me and providing utmost experience for their queries, even learning about new concepts in the exchange control and how to counterpart challenges faced by clients
