I HAVE LEARNED HOW TO INTERPRET THE MEDICAL TERMS,CODING,DESCRIPTIONS AND ALSO KNOW HOW THE DOCTORS MUST CHARGE,INCLUSION BENEFITS AND EXCLUSIONS AND REASONS FOR EXCLUSIONS. I HAD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO-WORKERS. THE CHALLENGING PART OF MY JOB WAS WHEN I GET CLAIMS WHICH WERE NOT PROPERLY PREPARED BY THE DOCTORS. ENJOYED ELECTRONIC CLAIMS BECAUSE THEY WERE PROPERLY PREPARED

I worked 11 years for Powertech Transformers starting with cashbook creditors clerk and then supervisor for 2 years. Due to retrenchment left company and currently working as debtors clerk at Medihelp

Good experience

I learned how to interpret claims according to the medical terms and descriptions also what the Doctors are to claim and not to claim according to the tariff amount on the Health council laws and also had a very good relationship with my co-workers. it was a very good experience working for Medihelp.

I've learned to correct and effective the first time.

I have an awesome environment. Beginning of the month is a bit hectic. Dew dates and reports and profile compiling. We follow a paperless view point so its very quite and all work. My senior Manager is an awesome lady...the job must be done but she's got a heart..... explains and will walk with you when we've got new projects lined up. Perseverance is one thing that I've learned. Numbers.....balancing and when not looking for that difference. Doing everything correct the first time.....because our reports go to the executive board in our company.

Pros: Great flexible hours
Cons: No more growth for me.....

Gain experience in finance

Very diligent hard worker. Flair for figures and excellent in creditors. Work very good under stress like challenges. I gain alot of finance experience over 20 years of working. I currently have experience in Cash book,Debtors,Creditors and General ledger. I also was in supervisor position for two years. I am very good in working in team. Still want to obtain Bcom in Financial manager but due to finance cant complete. I also work on system like SAP,Accpac and Syspro.

Pros: No oppurtunity to grow or promotion
Cons: Flexi time and great team
