Excellent larning curve

Doing daily liaison with suppliers and expediting orders. Working closely with co-workers, checking on delivery quantities, while enjoying the inter-action and have learnt about expediting, the challenges and enjoy new challenges and experiences. The most challenging has been assessing the various managers requirements and complying accordingly. I also do daily data management and Bill of Material updating on data packs relating to configuration and product data packs that need to be kept up to date for purchasing requirements. Updating spreadsheets on database. Maintaining a database for record purposes and updated electronic file with drawings and other relevant information pertaining to BOM.

Pros: Gaining new experiences
Cons: Not great promotional opportunities

My typical day

I enjoy working with people. My typical day consists of meetings between management & suppliers. Updating data basis & drawings. Challenges would be to get everyone concerd to agree on what to do in order to achieve our deadlines. I have learnt alot about myself & what I am capable to do both under pressure & in a normal day to day situation. I can do what ever I set my mind to.

Pros: Exciting environment
Cons: Travel distance & time
