Hard work and very demanding but you learn a lot of work skills and life skills

A day could be very busy or very slow and on the busy days I would handle most of the customer related work such as quotations, feed back , complaints and queries as well as sales. Because I worked in retail I was able to learn a lot about how to handle all kinds of clients, from the very happy ones to the very unhappy clients as well as I learnt how to be very patient when explaining how something works to a client or explaining the situation at hand that they are upset about. Although it was very tough at times I am very happy to have worked there as I learnt so much from retail.

Pros: A very big learning experience.
Cons: I work long hours as well as weekends and public holidays.

Great Work environment

Great place to work with a handful of individuals, learning from them as well as interaction with clients. Most days start from 9am and go up to 6pm assisting clients with their technical and sales needs

I had learnt a lot of work and life skills though the years.

Although I worked in retail I did most of the administrative work for the company such as filling of all cash ups , debtors and creditor statements and invoices. I did the month end reconciliation of all accounts and basic faxing and emailing reports to the account managers. I was in control of the call out bookings as well as meetings for the manager and stock control. I also made sure that the sales floor and back areas where clean. On top of all of this I also handled sales , answering emails,calls and assisting walk in clients.

Pros: great skill learning opportunity
Cons: Working seven days a week and on public holidays.

Great working experience and learning as well

My typical day at work would be coming in checking my emails and assisting walk in clients answering the phone when it rings, doing sales co ordination as well as assisting with invoices, quotations and managing the showroom. My relationship with my co workers is okay it is very professional and we work well in a team. I have learnt that I can manage a showroom alone as well as all the duties i do on a daily basis I have also learnt leadership skills. I enjoy working alone and assisting with sales co ordination. The most challenging aspects would be the employees payroll every month assisting with that is hard because i need to keep track of all invoices and clock in cards.

Excellent experience gained in multiple fields

Communicating with clients to sell products required, troubleshoot various problems, repairing problematic devices. Friendly staff allows for a good atmosphere. Learn new solutions to every situation. Helping clients resolve there problems.

Pros: Gaining experience in Sales and IT field. Excellent learning opportunity for Technicians.
Cons: Communication with unreasonable clients.

Great way to get into IT.

staff discounts are good but no overtime provided just extra off days. Not all staff are up to par taking every store into consideration. Every manager has their own way of doing things and there is no standard to training.

Learn Fast. Love to work with people.

My typical day at work is like a normal day but someday it is very busy here at work and we don't know where to help and not to help, someday then it is very quiet. I am a people person so my relationship with my co-workers are very good we work nice together like a team. I have learnt so much here by my work especially everything about computers and laptops. Things i enjoy the most is my work because i'm working with people.The most challenging thing of this work ( and i think of any work) is the rude people you need to help them even if they rude to you.
