Working in a university allows you to interact with different types of people as there is a wide demography of people. The structural environment has encouraged presentation of project done and completed. In this environment I have improved my report writing skills as well project planning. Challenges in this job are the institution red tape, which contribute to slow paced projects and postponed deadlines.

Combining my analysis skills with cost effectiveness of acquiring new products for the system.

A day as a business Analyst at Mangosuthu starts with checking emails, mostly communicate system errors, new developments. Our providers also release software updates, which I test and confirm production release. On a slow period I get time to go through the system learning new features that the users could utilise for better efficiency.

Fast learner

As employee at Mangosuthu University of Technology ,I work as lecturer assistance ,my duties was to tutoring students and doing administration work e.g marking of script ,compiling attendance register of students. We have good relationships with my employer. I have lerned to manage time ,interact with students and compliting work within the specific period required. I enjoy to work while I'm studying because more things I have lernt this include mult tasking. To work as lecturer assistance sometimes put me under presure while I have to write my exams and compling the work at the some time.

Cons: 8 hours a day

Excellent learning curve

All I'is fine and I am having a great time with my colleagues because most of them are my Lecturers and students I study with I learned a lot from Mangosuthu University Of Technology especially to work under pressure and still produce satisfactory results. l produce

Outgoing person

It University where Students seek help in terms of their work load. Students find easy to ask for assistance simple because there is a lot of work required for them to do. Tutors also help students during field practicals and as well as food practicals to make it a point all them understand the purpose of the course work and also gain knowledge.

- Daily teaching and development of undergraduate students - Research Laboratory monitoring and overseeing - Laboratory equipment overhauling servicing and testing for optimum efficiency - industrial pilot and lab scale research and development

Good team player and individual task performance skills

I'm a very reasonable employee , self driven to learn, i have a very good work ethics. My strengths include being very organised and good at structuring and excuting task given to me at work. I have very good communication skills which has mark me to be a very approachable individual who is has good professional skills in dealing with confidenciality. I have gain good leadership skills interm of project planning and execution . I'm an active learner, i easily adult and adjust to different environments. In my past work experience ive gain to the ability to maintain and manage to work with different cultural diversities.

Excellent learning curve

This was the first opportunity for me at the time, because I was still a student . I learned on how to deal with everyone whether face to face or through the phone. I had a very good relationships with my colleagues and my bosses . When I joined the office i didn't know anything about administration or secretary work I learned all that at MUT SCU.I enjoyed doing something new and interesting every day at the office. Planning a programme and doing the review of the programmes.

Pros: Had a chance to be permanent
Cons: Some days are long
