Great learning opportunity and skills development

The company produces cement and I have learned a lot about production and accounting in that sector. I use SAP and excel on a daily basis to follow up on amounts that have not reconciled. I am responsible for reconciling our control and general ledger accounts for purposes of audit. I predominantly work independently unless I'm performing finance ad hoc duties. I have experience in debtors control now as well as a result. I communicate well and that has helped in adjusting and dealing with fellow colleagues. I enjoy short term projects and work well under that pressure because I am motivated by results. Most challenging aspect is investigating but I have embraced it and learned a lot from it.

Pros: Exposure to a different industry
Cons: Contract job therefore limited time for growth

Good operational HR Experience

Day to day HR Advisor to both management and Employees Employee Relation by lasing with the Unions Management of the HR Team - HR Officer and Payroll Officer Good relationship with he co-worker I enjoy the interaction with different stakeholders

Excellent learning curve

Working under pressure

I’m responsible for operating 3 plants , drinking water plant , wastewater and boiler and cooling tower water treatment plant, I have so much to learn but it’s very hard because I work alone on shift with no assistance

Pros: Big plant , a lot to learn
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent experience and challenging but good results.

It is a great opportunity to work in this company because i have learned alot. You learn alot everyday, you develop skills and knowledge. The relationship in our environment is excellent. We help each other, we work as a team and share different ideas. I have learnt alot about procurement, warehouse and logistics operation which all in all makes it supply chain. I enjoy learning more every day, i am a very eager person. We do get challenges throughout the month but the aim is to conquer.

Pros: Promise for permanent job is here.
Cons: Managing a busy work schedule.

Managing occupational health issues; Daily operational meetings;

I attend daily operational issues to ensure SHE issues are facilitated in the meetings; Weekly site inspection to reinforce CSO reports; Engage HOD's and senior management on critical/outstanding SHE issues; I have learned that it's more effective to have active engagements (one to one) rather than reports/ emails; I most enjoy working for Mamba since it's still in developmental stages of systems and that gives an opportunity for new ideas as opposed to doing 'same old things' Most challenging is unwillingness/ inability to change behaviour or accommodate new ideas

Cons: no room to celebrate safety performance

Nothing can overcome a great team work spirit

My company currently is the best company since we'll there is a high team spirit, open minded people who are open to sharing ideas ,yes there are hard times now and again but the way we handle them makes life easier.i believe it's the way we approach situations that makes life easier.also if you build a good relationship with your team mates it summarises all the work .I can say loving wat you do will love you back
