Learnt a lot regarding financial planning

business to sign clients. Team work is everything and make everything easy so we usually go together to prospect.I’ve learnt patience and hard works pays off since we are commission based, I enjoy helping people regarding finance planning. The most challenging is having to make the client understand why they need that sort of help after doing financial analysis

Deliver training interventions on Induction Programme.

Deliver training interventions on Induction Programme for new Financial Advisors, from Sales Process, Product Knowledge (Risk and lnvestments), and Systems training. I work very well with my colleagues and management. Over the time I have been with Liberty, I have made strong relationships and friendships. The frustration is that the way the training programmes are structured, there is no enough challenge is there is a lot of repetition.

Growth and new experiences

My job entails gathering and writing requirements from a data architectural perspective. I have enjoyed learning all the new concepts of data and information. What has been challenging, is that the project I am on is a new concept and needs business buy. Trying to get people to believe in something new is difficult.

I come from a hospitality backround.

My day can be extremely busy most of the time because at an operational level in risk, my time is needed in sharing knowledge from a risk perspective to business. Also, I deal with Financial Advisors out in the field nationally and report to their Heads, where I deal with compliance matters within our processes. Risk assessments including monitoring conducted can be tedious due to gathering of information and interrogating it for clarity, before analysing and producing a report. I also handle disciplinary cases at HR/ER level as a chairperson within the company.

Cons: Can be laid back and slow down your deliverables

Excellent learn curve

my typical work day starts off with me seeing my clients that i have booked appointments , after seeing my clients i head to the office to do the planning and quotes for my clients. i have a great relationship with my work colleagues. never under estimate the potential of clients, everyday is a new learning experience the culture of working with like minded individuals the only con is that we are continually having systems issues

Good exposure to all HR functions

My job entails recruitment, Industrials relations, performance management, employee relations, terminations and general HR consultations and query resolution. I engage with Managers at various levels in the organisations as well as all employees.

It is a great company to work. You have the flexibility to work different hours or work from home. The benefits are amazing especially the bank discounted interest rate it is a big saving for those that have a bond. The culture is very collaborative and family orientated. The open door policy is also great it allows for freedom and comfort among some leadership maybe not all.

Fully achieved

Allocating leads, following up with financial advisors and other stakeholders. Great relationship in our team. I have leant that peoples monies and time are important and I enjoy interacting with different people and being a problem solver.
