Excellent Learning Curve
Working at Lexisnexis is always a busy day, with customer faced environment. you will always work under immense pressure. working with my co-workers, it is a pleasure . good team spirit, always helping one another. i have learnt alot from the time i started at the company, technical. learnt how to work under pressure. i enjoy the people i work with. they always inspiring, motivating and always making sure you working at the best of your abaility. Honestly customer faced enviroment is challenging, there is alot pressure and you will always have to at the top of your game.

I'm currently employed but seeking for change and new challenges
I am passionate about my job and I have recently graduated on Payroll Administration. I'm looking for a change and some sort of new challenges as I wish to impart the skill as well.
Pros: There are no opportunities for growth.
Cons: I often work long hours but not everyday, however, the environment is very fast and I'm always on my toes which is not a problem as Payroll deparment is like that.

Excellent learning curve
I have experience in many fields. I developed software for arms deals, software for pharmacies, then I managed an import/export company...and was sent to work in China for 3 months. Now I am a customer service representative at LexisNexis in Durban. I process all orders, globally. I liaise with customers. I resolve customer queries to the best of my ability. I Have been complemented on a high customer Service satisfaction. I have excellent experience and good with people. I can without a doubt, work under pressure. I will be an asset to your company.

Excellent learning curve
I was hired as an intern, the internship was about 3 weeks (during winter vacation). Working at LexisNexis was a oppprtunity. I was exposed to the real world in the IT industry. We worked as teams, each team had a leader - I was in the testing team. The day would start from 08:00 - 16:30. Every morning we would have meeting with other testing teams; the one in Cape Town, it was required that each person to report what they did the previous day, the challenges one dealt with and also what they will be doing that day. I was fortunate enough to work with hard working team, that worked well together. We were from different institutions but we got along just fine, which made it each for one to ask for help if it was due. The most challenging aspect about the job was to trying to meet the team leader half way and learning as we working because during the time we were there the company was launching; moving from desktop to online.

Always a postive attitude, team player ,
A normal working day is always busy, telephonic technical support. always work well with others. from the time i came in the company i have learnt a lot internally and externally. i have gained a lot of knowledge technically. I enjoy working with the team we have as we always work as a family.

About working at my current job
Workdays are hectic as it is busy everyday and I use to work alone but now there is two of us. We work great together. A lot about Technical Support and growing in a corporate world,also communication is important. Solving problems. Solve problems that I am not familiar with on a given amount of time, either way the job gets done.
