Some of the tasks performed on a daily basis include the following -: time studies, line balancing, layout design, layout improvement, cad drawings, training operators. I enjoyed working at this company and I would prefer it to someone who needs employment

Very high paced enviroment
Its a very fast paced enviroment . That demands a lot of team work to achieve set objectives. Highly unionised enviroment . I have gained sense of urency and flexibility.

Production Admin /Purchasing
Daily mornings updating the breakdowns and send it to morning meetings, Ordering spares for the company, updating disciplinary register, and help the operators when need the assistance from the parts. Do all the maintenance work ,Get the phones from my suppliers. Capturing invoices ,scanning and filling.

It was an good experience working under a lot of old guys that knows the ins bad outs .
It's a good company to gain experience but you can't gain more experience because it's a small company but the people that works there are so wonderful to work with
Pros: It's takes you years to get an promotion
Cons: You can't further your career because you do the same thing most of the time

They make changes and never monitor how effective are the changes,we work well with my colleagues under the circumstances, its a good learning curve, long working hours

Excellent learning curve
In a typical day you enjoy your work and the people you are working with. When there is a high demand or there is a target to be achieved the work is harder but doable and you get tired more than usual. With everything else the people that I work with are matured and want the best for you.

It has been a challenge working at lear bit also a great learning curve
A day at Lear corporation consists of managing absenteeism eg replacements, and multiskilling operators. Making sure all lines are running and targets are being met hourly. Meetings with subordinates being held on a daily basis and KPI run through daily. I enjoy with the diverse group of people, I have learned something new everyday regarding how different people are and how they fit in to become one team working towards the same goal.
Pros: Great opportunity for the out of school first time job seekers
Cons: no career advancement , long working hours, no 13th cheque

CHALENGES
TO WORK AT LEAR CORPORATION IS VERY CHALLENGING AND STRESSFUL. RELATIONSHIP WITH CO WORKERS ARE OK BUT LOTS OF BACK BITING. WHAT I ENJOY IS THE DAY TO DAY CHALLENGES. THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT IS TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE DIFFERENCES AND PERSONALITY'S AND LEADING AND DRIVING AT THE SAME TIME.

Staying up to date with all the latest changes and requirements with TF16949
AA Shift handover. Verify firsts off give. Doing verification on air leak testing and torque station. Verifying master samples to blue print by measuring out the part and verifying that all components used on the wiring harness are correct.. n.

Good new challenging experience everyweek
Working at lear corporation gave me a totally new experience of life as i never work in a firm bt its a maturing experience,grown,new curve of seeing things in a much differnt way as im from retail recent comming from school .working with many people big worldwide company with a lot of pressure that needs your mind to be settle because you working moving around with small differerent colours,wires,small objects have to produce hourly,its huge challenging bt yet you come out very good proud of yourslf to finish a day without being extreme insane or torn up with the pressure.That kind of pressure will win me anywhere as what ever pressure,group working i come across will be much easy to work at with as im used to .
Pros: To be able to work at any automotive company
