I have learnt and gained experience in production:when raw materials are ordered upon delivery I will check that correct sizes and correct spec is delivered as ordered, and pre welding inspection is done prior to welding and post welding as weld and also fit up is inspected with overall dimensions as well, Upon receipt of approved GA drawings a QCP is made as per drawing and Databook is compiled as progress of product is done, QCP points are signed of as per hold points , if NDE is required for Plate I will then send through a request for NDE on the specific weld numbers and plates, I enjoy when New unique products are required to be made because its a challenge,what challenges me is when we are faced with problems that need solutions and are sometimes new, i really enjoy everyone I work with and get along with everybody.

Cons: no oppotunity for growth or promotion

Being a international company opportunities does come your way to travel and see the world from time to time. There is always a helping hand when you need one.

Work experience

Hi I am currently a QC inspector at a crane manufacturing company,I do complete checks of the whole process of the manufacturing process and check that material delivered is up to standard and components are manufactured as per approved drawing, I work hand in hand with our manufacturing management, projects department, and have a great work relationship,I really enjoy when special cranes are required to be made its a great learning curve and new challenges.

Pros: great working enviroment
Cons: no growth
