Day of a Company Secretary

My current position exposes me to communicating with senior management and leadership of the organisation. Through involvement in the meetings has moulded me to think strategically and grow how apply my mind to certain aspects in the workplace. I enjoy working as an individual and as a team member, the cohesion plays a big role in the achievement of objectives and common goals. We strive for excellent service and performance especially to the Board and its Committees. Our division is at the centre of communication channel between management and Board. We also liaise regularly with regulators, such as SA Reserve Bank, NCR, CIPC, and Shareholders. The job demands attention to detail, be able to take initiative and discretion especially with matters that come to the attention of management and you have to keep confidentiality rating very high. I am an enthusiastic person and am able to mend in a team easily.

Ithala is a great company to work for

I have enjoyed the years I worked at Ithala , getting along very well with the staff and stake holders. I have learnt on how to overcome challenges working with 16 branches on a daily basis and make sure that their they are operational, team work does help a lots, since we deal with client we get new challenges everyday but we always try our best to overcome them. what I enjoy most about my job is that everyday we meet new people and learn new thing from them, team work, humanity from the staff we support each other

Pros: there are opportunities to grow , but i will like to grow on other sector as well to learn more things
Cons: working for the financial institution you have to be a very vegilent person eache and every time .

Excellent learning

Working at Ithala is such a great experience, I have leaned to work as a team, manage my managers daily diary, assist my colleagues with ADMIN requirements e to work at

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

I enjoy being at Ithala because of the managers,its so easy to talk to them about anything. Colleagues they make my work so enjoyable because sometimes there are projects that we do that will need team work,thats the most thing that makes my job awesome I get the opportunity to listen other people,how they do things and how they think.In addition I get the opportunity to apply my skills too while also learning other things I didn't know. The challenge is when we have to meet deadlines we have to work longer hours of which that on the other hand its something that I enjoy too because I work under pressure,that keeps me focused

Good learning on how to work with people and working as team.

I am Khumalo Khayelihle Philip im current doing internship at Ithala limited bank acting as financial advisor, im actually working 8 hours I have good relationship with my staff members, I have learnt so much things about how to work as a team and how to work with people and the most thing I enjoy is to work with people because is very challenging.

Excellent

My coursework introduced me how to deal with clients,freindly service,communication skills,money skills,administration skills. My relationship with co-workers was very good,they will make sure i have to learn new duties a day. What i enjoyed the most was being and administrator and teller duties. The most challenging aspect was on my first day at work with no understanding where to start but by the end of the week tended to be very good and awesome enjoying my feild.

Pros: They extended my contract for week
Cons: Electricity problems.

I learned a lot from Ithala bank such as computer skills, attention to detail, Financial skill, Electronic funds transfer processing, marketing and selling the products of the company, advise clients to ion how to invest money in,
