Excellent learning curve
What is said in the interview and what is the actual way of working are 2 very different things. Everything you do is micro managed. The managers walk up and down the isles more than being in their actual offices to check if people are chatting and having "fun", then you get disciplined (verbal warning first). If you make a mistake, you have to type an apologetic email and cc the entire company that it won't happen again.

Excellent learning curve
Good multinational company basee in different countries forcing in test and laboratory testing for mining and different types of industries I'm based in the finance department for their branch in Johannesburg in a temporary capacity there are no va agencies

My career learning curve
As a young and motivated individual I am extremely interested in submitting an application for the advertised lab technician position. In May 2020 I will have a complete a Bachelor of Technology polymer technology as I will have one module left to finish. I took a career in polymer materials sciences as it fast growing production globally, and the reason being that the polymers are more efficient, reliable and save cost. It not a far division of career as I have done nano-technology and material science under Analytical chemistry which has given me a back ground knowledge of polymer materials and their behaviour. I also obtained a national diploma in Analytical chemistry. This has given me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role

Exposure to petrochemical activities
A very demanding environment where customer expectations are high and there is little chance for errors as this usually holds up vessels discharging leading to demurrages. I enjoy the managerial duties exposure. I have learnt a lot regarding forecasting, financial performance etc. The exposure to petrochemical activities such as testing, inspection of land tanks, rail carts and road tankers, survey of vessels etc is extensive. being exposed to health and safety is another advantage.

Perfect for learning
The company is great and the nature of the co-workers is very nice , people are very friendly and they are willing to assist you where you lack and teach you as many of the techniques as possible

Excellent export experience
I have the theoretical and practical understanding of how a system in the logistics environment works and when give the opportunity I will ensure that my job function will be carried out with a high level of accuracy and detail, while maintaining standard operating procedures of the entity.
Pros: The pros in my current position, is that I have the exposure of dealing with customers internationally
