Its an okay company to work for, not much room for growth. Company not really doing well so we haven't been getting bonuses I have really grown eversince I started working there, grown mentally and professionally. I have gathered a lot of experience that I believe will help me when I move to other companies

Excellent working curve

I have a considerable management experience (3 years) My skills are videographer, editing and digital marketing Insatiable curiosity to learn and your desire to integrate into the world of work. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent learning curve

there is no pressure so long you meet your deadline on time , the co-workers are very friendly and welcoming and taking you step by step when they showing you the ropes. i have learnt a lot in this company, mostly importantly be true to yourself and believe on what is right and fight for it. i enjoyed when we attending functions where you will socialise and meet diverse and inspiring people. the most challenging about this job to always step ahead with media and maintaining the relationships with your sources.

Cons: yes long hours journalist does not sleep

Accounts clerk with understanding to unpack documents for reconciliation purpose

Enjoy working in a friendly environment .Ensure the work process is not complicated .Eg Friendly Software program (updated yearly ). I love to make new friends but also keep it professionally. To ensure it does not endanger the work flow . I ensure using my experience to help other co workers

Print media has become unpopular in agencies

Independent Media has transformed over the years and has evolved into a multimedia platform. My latter experience encompasses Event marketing, which has allowed me catapulted me into a management role

Pros: Establishes media house
Cons: Since being bought over and moved to Cape Town, the culture has dwindled
