I have worked with tenders and bids

My duties were following up on tenders with with suppliers, capturing on in house system. Working on rfq with the buyers. Maintenance of vendor master with 4500 vendors. Capturing new vendors on the data base. Filing, minute taking and all other adhhoc admin. i enjoyed working with suppliers putting a tender together up to the final stage when it's awarded. I have learned efficiency, and be organised to meet deadlines and be competent. Challenges were negotiations to make sure that we make savings.

Pros: I was a administrator but was able to take on a buyer position with success
Cons: to meet deadlines I use to work late and come in on the weekends
