Good working environment with reasonable colleagues and management

Working at HWSETA has been very challenging yet educational. I started as a Procurement Intern later on I was a temporary contract as a Procurement Administrator. A typical work day included issuing orders, checking deliveries, communicating with suppliers and processing requisitions from different departments.HWSETA provides a good working environment where people socialize and work smart at the same time. Every one gets along with every one ,should there be any conflict you communicate and resolve it. The most challenging aspect about being an administrator is working with people from different backround and have no knowledge about the process not procedures involved in purchasing goods or rendering services. However I have learnt that communication is key.Make everyone aware of the process involved in acquiring goods ,from my side I need to understatnt what he commodity will be used for and the urgency.

Pros: Good working environment
Cons: No growth

Good working evironment

Working in the HWSETA for the last 1 year 6months has been a learning journey filled with challenges. As a young graduate an internship is an opportunity to practice theory.HWSETA provided me with a opportunity to learn more about Supply Chain however it limited my opportunities.I was more or less in charge of sourcing, tendering and administration of procurement functions. Its a good working environment where everyone's opinion is taken into consideration and employees are treated with professionalism however not all employees are treated equally. The are employees who take first priority in management's not entirely on merit

Pros: Good working environment
Cons: Employees are not treated equally
