My typical working day is to start off by first sorting my most urgent work at the top of my list for the day. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers as I believe we should maintain a good relationship at all times as we need to work together for the company to function smoothly as well. I have learnt many things during my time at the company, its always good to listen to the next person opinion and you are not always right, we can always learn something from the next person. Also apart from working enviroment we learn to become more like family then just work mates. I enjoy reconciliation. My most challenging is negotiating with second hand sale buyers.

Industrial engineer experience, tpm facilitator as well production manager

I have in an industry for 10 years as Industrial Engineer and I have 4 years managerial experience as production manager . My experience vary from automotive industry ,fmcg ,heave industry , manufacturing as well as electronics industry. I have a tangible experience largely on creating and managing manufacturing processes such as TPM,LEAN MANUFACTURING as well as TPS . I am a good communicator , good team player and well discipline individual

Great opportunity for no experienced candidates or Less qualified workers

Long working hours but less benefits or relevant payments. Not given an opportunity to further your studies or to grow in the company. Most challenging aspects are working under hot environment and unhealthy workplace

Good

I have 1 year and 11 months of experience in the field of Industrial Engineering with focus on Time Study/Method Study, Production Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing System, Procedure and Policy Development and Design, and Facility Layout and Design. I have worked for Gomma Gomma a lounge suite company as a Junior Industrial Engineer. I have also worked for Valspar SA Corporation coatings products Company as an In-service Trainee. In addition to that, I have a National Diploma in Industrial Engineering from Durban University of Technology, where I have developed analytical and problem solving skills to optimise complex processes.

I use my current company as a traing ground.I have dealt with difficult suppliers

working at gomma is stressfull but fulfilling. we have difficult bosses but that keeps us on our toes. there is no time to slack. I enjoy my relationships with my suppliers. tHE most challenging aspect is keeping our bosses happy. you slip up once and that's it. and keeping him happy is not an easy job. I have to make sure the factory runs and 90 percent of the time the production plan changes so keeping the factory running is challenging.
