Good for learning customer service

I have enjoyed being part of the company so everyday was the best. We allways had a very good team work which made our job eazy. respect is the basic thing to one another wich was learned every working day. The competions with co-workers regarding our work is what i enjoyed most. The challenging part was when dealing with drunk and disrespectful customers who will threaten us or wait for us outside to kill us due to loosing a lot of money on our tables.

Completed my B.com in Financial Management

I raise invoices of all tenants and collect monthly rentals, Follow up on outstanding debts and capture payments on cashbook. I have good working relationship with my colleagues.

Pros: no growth
Cons: working over weekends on month-end

Gaining experience in the IT field

Couldn't get a job as a developer do rather than sitting, decided to apply for any position that would properl my experience within the IT industry and too grow.

Pros: working under pressure, responsibility, being accountable
Cons: no team work, managers don't mentor properly, managers don't want you to enquire where one doesn't understand

Review of working at current role

I'm responsible for the full financial function of Gold Reef City Casino. I manage five managers. I have a good rapport with my team and liase well with different levels of management. I have learnt how to manage staff in my current role. I enjoy the management aspect and being involved in the operations. The most challenging part of the job is the very tight deadlines and dealing with different personalities.

Pros: Great team and working environment and culture
Cons: Currently group is restructuring so positions are frozen

Prepared to excell and gain more experience through various work channels

Be able to interact with clients on varoius levels. Being in control of the cash desk responsibilities and staff that all is in accordance with the standard operating procedures.

Excellent customer service

I work with cash performing different kinds of transactions like bank cards withdrawal and refunds, distributing cash to different areas around the casino according to the orders, captures customer information on de database
