Gijima is a good company even the people. It has tough me alot about IT and i see going far in this industry, it has opened many closed doors. Although there were some up and downs but that is part of life.

Excellent problem solving skills
Working in a company as big as this gives me the challenge to grow as an individual, and it also allow me to learn in different fields, and not to comfortable in only the field that I am currently in, I have learnt to appreciate the value of time and to push my self to the maximum limit, and more then anything i have learnt to believe in my self and my work.

I am currently working as an ICT Desktop Support Technician for the past 4 years at the Department of Education; I am accredited in Desktop and Technical Support NQF Level 4 & 5 National certificates, ComptiA A+ ce as well as IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL V3) certificate. My daily duties include constant attendance of ICT calls, responding to users’ incidents and request, configuring and supporting ICT devices. Provide technical support and maintaining day to day operational issues on LAN / WAN (N+) & Wi-Fi, A+ hardware and software installation as well as configuration. Provide end-user support and training. Assist users with ICT solutions. Additionally I monitor relocation of ICT equipment within the organization. Liaise with external service providers on ICT devices’ service and warranty and also monitor, support and report on projects running within the office.

Wonderful opportunity to learn from other people within a variety of industries
Each day within recruitment is challenging. In addition, our team was built on 3 people myself (junior), senior recruiter and regional manager. In all, all three of us had a goal which is to create a positive turnover in revenue and profit for the business. I have learned to compose myself, what to look out for in terms of peoples needs and how to carry myself within the industry. I mostly enjoyed the fact that the recruitment industry always changes people's lives. The most challenging aspect of the jobs was to do something that I was not passionate about but still give it 110%.

Excellent field for practice.
Good day Gijima Technology people prepares me to have time management because of SLA, We serve the companies biggest clients Of which is Standard bank and FNB, Sanlam Funeral Palour, Total Garages, and other Merchant Services. The biggest challenge is when the whole branch is down, what I enjoy the most is communicating with co-workers, across the whole region and that anyone can assist if they have came across the similar problem. I learn something new everyday. The company buys an Employee a nice be vw vehicle and gives fuel allowance for traveling so an employee can enjoy while on route to sites as sometimes we drive to North about 300+km. We are capable of billing the banks on resolve IT. Kindly regards Lungani

The company offers great great learning platform
good working environment. shifts are 9 hours iincluding lunch. i have learned about customer service and being orientated. i enjoy interacting with people, working as a team to acomplish our goal. the most challanging part is working with people who are not willing to sacrifice for other people when working as a team

Excellent learning curve
I would love working here because we are a team, especially on a friday when everyone is in the office that would be a typical working day. My relationship with my co-workers is great i get along with everyone. I wont lie, I have got most of my working experience here and it is actually great. The most challenging aspects of my job is reporting to our big bosses in Samrand.
