My Typical Busy Day: * Liaise with different Sub-contracted Transportation Companies for Fleets availability. * Daily chep pallets management * Allocate available Fleet no(s). In accordance with Time Slots. * Confirming (Exact Times of Arrivals) for each Fleet and make commitments. * Tracking All Cargos to assure Customers their estimated times of Stock arrivals. * Invoicing and monitoring Stock Movements from different allocations. * Make informed decisions based on Stock availability and rotation policies. * Validating Export/Import Documents as per Operational requirements. * Ensuring Turn-around times accuracy. * Materialize co-existence of Logistics Operations. * Negotiate reasonable pricing with Sub-Contractors. * Chep pallets reconciliation, Transfers, Placing orders, Arrange collection, Manage Exchanges (one for one), Bulk and Docket redeem exchanges. I have tendency of making my presence felt and can be referred to as "GO GETTER" / PATH FINDER.

Job is easy to learn but require lot of commitment since it is critical

too much pressure on daily basis, high demand of communication during the process. the chances of growing are open but very few are able to rise to the top within the company. some people do not have a problem about teaching other but also some are selfish. employment is always increasing but salaries do not. work load increases month by month causing more people to be employed now and then.

Excellent exposure to new things

Pleasures of working with all different people. Opportunity to grow and study further. Too much racism. Management does not recognise low level employees. The praise always goes to the seniors. The company does not need too much experience and education to be a part if it

I consider myself confident, self-motivated. I am always interested in gaining knowledge and undertake tasks at hand. I’m responsible; the jovial trait that I possess makes me a good team player. With my ability and capacity to work under pressure makes it easy for me to deliver on time.

It's great

I have experience as quality supervisor, Abattoir manager and currently junior quality manager. I enjoy challenges and have also joined the research and development team to learn and grow myself further. I am part of the employment equity forum at the manual Turing company I'm currently in as well as a member of the hoard

Its good for leaning expirience

Sometime it good sometimes its bad. The company does give the opportunity to grow but they is less support. I was given an oopportunity to to be trained as a LAB technician and currently some of the job at the LAB is done by me. I got an opportunity to work with external auditor from different bodies and that is what I ejoy most.

The Good of Working for Freys

I work for a company that is in the manufacturing industry. It is a company that process meat from Pigs. We make vienna, russian, bacon etc. I am an Operation clerk at the company. This is a link between production and human resources deparmtent. A typical work day can involve taking calls for people who will be absent from work. Doing absence report on a daily basis. Writing warning for supervisors . My relationship between me and co-workers is amazing considering that i have a great relationship with most of them. I have learnt to be puntual in the company. As it is important to arrive on time. I enjoy to communicate with my collegues and to attend company functions. what challenged me about this job is that you have to work unde pressure most of times.
