Excellent on the job experience
Very challenging and volatile environment due to global commodity prices, exchange rate and operational environment. Interaction from management level to director level. Most challenging aspect of the job is convincing people to change their mindsets and operate in an integrated holistic manner. The job requires excellent organizational, planning, communication and technical skills. A high pressure environment which requires drive and energy to ensure successful execution of projects.

I worked as Diesel mechanic individual, sometimes as part of ateam where I was responsible for making sure all TMM and stationary equipment runs smoothly. I carried out both preventative checks, as well as emergency maintenance and ran repairs for Earthmoving equipment and as such most of my work took place out on site.Part of my duties involved preparing, carrying out and over-seeing the maintenance schedule, allocating time and prioritizing my most critical work, checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.keeping my foremen informed of progress and was making sure that I was 24-hour available when I held standbys. I joined the company (Foskor mine) as an apprentice (red seal certificate). As part of my career progression I am very keen to join your company because of its outstanding reputation.
