Carl's review

Fluor is a great company to work for. However, continuous employment in the current market is very challenging and therefore also the opportunity to be promoted is slim. Fluor will do everything possible to accommodate an employee on a next assignment and demobilization is always considered as last way out.

Pros: Highly skilled team with of the highest integrity in the industry
Cons: No continuous employment as full time contractor

Top Gear Always

Challenging , Interesting and top of the S Curve. A company that thrives on major projects and injects enthusiasm.. My workday consists of liaising with discipline engineers and driving them to achieve their signed off baselines and assisting cost controllers with progress versus cost.

Pros: Generally good all round
Cons: none

Excellent Learning Curve

I am currently unemployed. I have worked as Fluor for almost nine years. The company was restructuring so I took a voluntary retrenchment so that I could spend time with my baby who was only eight months old at the time. He is now two years old and I have decided to go back to work.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: being on a project, had to work over time
