working at fedex its great make person so how important to be hard worker couse it can open you a lot of opportunity's they also assist you if you need a growth career ways if you show an interest I have being in tree department with fedex also work at operations its like they don't close door when you fighting for future I really enjoy to be with them but I think its about time to take my experience some were else .challenging aspects of the job its was when I having query something about our billy they send use Couse I was en up dealing with directors for other companies and also explained back to our directors.

High pressure , lots of varying factors and constant movement.

A typical day at work would consist of assisting and guiding other people in the company and aiding them in understanding the process and policies that we follow. Over and above providing financial advise we also assist where we can with other aspects. My relationship with my co-workers is very good as we all understand each other despite the age gap I have learnt that when working in large company its important to understand and be patient with other people as our exposure and experience as individuals varies. It's also important to build relationships and understanding to ensure everyone wins. I enjoy the diversity within the company and being able to impart knowledge that helps other people thrive. The most challenging part currently is the amount of reliance and reports that are required from the finance department locally and internationally to ensure compliance in all areas, this also has an impact on the projects that are under way to expand as company

Credit control

Every morning I have to claim my payment from the bank statement, allocate them to the accounts, get remittance ready for allocation, then do all the credit request, by investigating taking it up with sales department where necessary, then do telephonic collections on outstanding payments, by month end making sure all invoices are captured and payments applied, do statements run and send to the customer, my relationship with Co workers are great working together as a team, I have learned that working towards the same goal make things easier and faster to resolve. I enjoy building new friendships with customers, the thrill to get over due payment resolved to keep making sure payment is received on time, credit resolved, recon done for a customer, make sure that my filing is up to date, and notes update daily, y work neat and up to date

Pros: Great company, we worked on extra insensitive if work was done and collections target reached
Cons: 8am till 4:30pm
