etv is a good place to learn, gain experience and develop skills. The overall culture lacks cohesion, structure and if staff felt more valued the overall atmosphere would be greatly improved.

Work day and relations with co-wprkers

Typical day at work includes but not limited to setting up interviews, interviewing candidates with Line Managers, preparing offer letters, induction for new employees. building relationships with new and current employees. making sure that new employees are welcomed and settle in well with in the organisation. assisting managers with day to day queries and disciplinary issues.

Pros: Great company to work for
Cons: not enough opportunity for growth

The eMedia experience

The company has an amazing, vibrant culture that allows individuals to find their strengths as one builds their career portfolio. I strengthened my customer service skills and I enjoyed be part of the creative processes that went into sale proposals. I also worked as a liaison between clients, account executives and other departments, I had built good team relations and inter personal skills.

Pros: great energy and opportunity to learn media.
Cons: lack of flexibility

Experience gained

Its been a great experoence working for etv. I learnes a lot while in their employ. Salary for the first 7 years or so was not good. No communication between higher management and junior staff. No room for growth. Overall its been a great but not as much as one would expect it to be.

Cons: No relationship between top management and juniors
