I've gain experience on industrial waste water treatment.

It was great working at ERWAT. I've learned a lot on industrial waste water treatment. We were working shift, day and night shift. We worked as a team. My relationship with coworker was amazing. We did not give each other hard time. Every time when it is your shift, the operator will hand in the shift report and know exactly what happened when you were not on duty. That make it easy to work.

Pros: Great opportunity for doing work integrated learning.
Cons: Working on holidays.

Excellent learning curve.

It was a great honour to work with the company. If it was not for the company, I would have not graduate. We were working shifts, 12 hours shift, 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off. We were working well with coworkers. We didn't give each other problems. We make sure we hand over the shift on time. I've learnt to operate the effluent plant alone. The most challenging aspects on the job is when they don't collect the sludge on time, because it will make the plant not to operate.

Pros: Great opportunity for completing my studies.
Cons: Long working hours.

Excellent

At my previous company we worked everyday. My relationship with my co-workers was so professional and we respect each other I learnt alot about water and how to treat water I enjoyed work with people at that company and the work load was not too muchwe work evrydqy

Great industrial exposure, Well advanced technologies, Good mentors, Technical projects

• I have experience over 3 years’ wastewater treatment (industrial effluent) where I currently work as process operator (team leader) to ensure that the supernatant is of acceptable standard set out by the municipal counsel. • Control equipment and monitor process that remove or destroy contaminants, chemicals, and microorganisms from wastewater. • Able to analyse, and interpret data using computerized method including PLC system control.

Cons: Overtimes

Good

communication written and verbal, team work and ability to work individually, also experience in waste water treatment industry as a process controller which includes operating DAF unit, schaider systems, aeration basin (BNR), trickling filters, sludge handling techniques, which includes removal of sludge from the primary 2 tanks and feeding of anaerobic digesters, monitoring its temperature, feeding rate and pH including the onsite lab analysis technique using spectrophotomiters, also basic knowledge of water purification. Problem solving and process controlling gained through years of working in a large wastewater care works plant. With a great desire to grow in the water works company.
