Excellent place to learn different trades
A typical day starts with collecting flows, process parameters, checklist to ensure that everything is operating accordingly and if not, that is reported on the check sheet and incident registry. Should there be any need for process controlling then that should be implemented. The relationship with co-worker is good, there are disagreements and differences but it is kept professional, and issues are normally solved within the employees without the need to involve the manager. I have learnt that you need to be multi-skilled where you can do more than what you specialise in, I've learnt how to deal with conflict and being assertive. I enjoy process controlling, when we are not complying and have to come up with plans and solutions to solving our problems. The most challenging thing is not being afforded the freedom to perform your job, getting interference

Cons: Job doesn't offer much challenge, routine

The most excellent way
I love working here, its a good Company to work for but I am a on a Contract with another Company. The working schedule is very hectic at times and the load is becoming user friendly, as co-workers are a platform of a trained platoon. We get along very well unless the on pay days where everyone is for himself and GOD is for us all. The environment is a uniformity type as we have to get used of putting certain clothes depending on the department one is deployed at. We usually visit for Security reason and yes its a dealing with the waste and saftey comes first. Its a good learning experience to the core. One has to learn and monitor others and most cases we find it difficulty in introducing a new system or Policy to Government employees. You become Big brother by their way of analysis. I Love working with the elders and they seem to figure out a lot of things easier and will give you they type expertise, experience and as changes been their way of life. I like challenges as they make me stand on my feet.
Pros: Good for liquid engineering

Reading and asking relavent people
It's a very nice thing working at Erwat, more especially during the day where everyone is there. I work best when I work with other people ( in groups). The relationship I have with my colleagues is perfect, I laugh and talk with all of them with no fights between me and them. I have learnt how to operate a plant on my own. Enjoy doing analysis and get the accurate results. The most challenging thing I have experienced is when the person am working with leave the job for n stays in the office for the whole shift.

• Responsible for improving production and effluent compliance. • To assist operators and maintenance to maintain the quality. • To conduct continuous assessment project to improve plant performance and quality. • To attend safety meetings and ensure safe working conditions. • To compile technical report with the assistance of supervisor.

Cons: Discharging the non-compliance effluent resulting to a hefty penalty to a client.

Excellent learning curve, willingness to pay for studies
The most challenging aspects of the job: Involvement of unions Typical work day Approval of orders, payments, reconciliation, review of month end reports, meetings, preparing reports for EXCO and audit committee relationships The Finance team myself and 12 employees reporting to me works well together, we have good relationships. Enjoying the most Teamwork and good relationships and implementing internal controls What I have learnt Patients

Effluent plant operator at kellogs from 2017 to 2018.
I have operated and treated waste water for kelloggs S. A. Through out my journey, i have gained skill on Troubleshooting, jar test measurements, weekly and monthly presentations. Sample analysis and submission to municipality, i also did light maintenance on the plant and ensured good performance of the effluent pupms. Did mini projects of the plant, water and energy balnce as well.
Pros: It was a great experience, i only had one year to aquire knowledge and gain skill on this field.
Cons: The course of learning through out was minimlal due to many students applying for the same post every year

Great company for learning
Water technologies are very good and the workers are very welcoming and friendly and I have learned how to run a water water process from primary to secondary stage and 8 enjoy the most operational work at plant level
