It is an industry i have never worked in before and it teaches you how to control your emotions

i work in an emotinaly and mentally challenging environment where we deal with clients with emergency medical needs and at times painful situations that require empathy,a normal day at work is filled with mixed emotions and at times can be informative especially for a non medical person as myself

Pros: long 4 to 5 days off
Cons: a 12hr shift and night shift has to be the down side

New field for me and i had to adapt

an area of mixed emotions and mentally challenging and also teaches one to have empathy while remaining professional,a great place to make friends but also to be independent

Real help real fast

Real help real fast means saving someone anywhere in south africa who required emergency assistance and enjoy working as a team to save lifes what i enjoy most is giving more than is required from me i have learn to sacrifies a lot

I hace case management experience in both and private sector

IN MY WORK EXPERIENCE I HAVE LEARNED FINANCIAL, CONFLICT AS WELL AS RISK MANAGEMENT. MY COMMUNICATION SKILL HAD TO IMPROVE QUICKLY, DUE TO DAILY CLIENT TELEPHONIC CONTACT. I WORK IN A CONTACT CENTRE, WITH LOTS OF DIVERSE PEOPLE. NOT ONLY AM I COMPUTER LITERATE, BUT I WORK WITH A COMPUTER DAILY AT WORK. I AM EXERIENCED IN INTERNATIONAL AS WELL AS LOCAL MEDICAL INSURANCES. KNOWLEDGE OF MED SCHEME RULES AND PMB CONDITIONS. ALL THE ABOVE HAS HELPED TO STRENGTHEN MY PTOFESSIONAL IMAGE. MY PERSONAL IMAGE WAS ALREADY STRONG, AS WELL AS MY ADAPTIVENESS. I HAVE KNOWLWEDGE OF ICD10 CODING AS WELL AS CPT CODING

Good experience

Long working hours, including nightshifts. Dangerous areas. Good co-workers Not many benefits, no bonus I've learnt a lot about both the private and government sectors. I have extensive experience dealing with various medical professionals as well.as medical aids. Extensive experience treating patients who are critically ill/injured as well as administrative and supervisory skills.

Excellent learning curve

I learned alot working with people and equipment.. I really enjoy working with people and live the medical side of things.. I enjoyed the rush of the ambulance and not knowing what you going to get that day and to always be prepared for anything that can be thrown at ud

Great support

Working environment is exciting and exhilarating

Typical workday at Er24 is very much exciting. What I learned is to interact with people in caring for them and administer the right and appropriate treatment. The most challenging aspect is client that do not cooperate and sometimes it feels like the company doesn't care for us.

Pros: It gives me opportunity to help other people in need
Cons: No room for growth and more opportunities

Big room to grow

I am still new big leaning curve for me.Since I am working on event I have hope that next year I' gonna be doing oparationals.So there is stil a room for me to grow.Its a fun place to work to very diversed different characters you learn new things every day.What I like is not every day is the same and everybody is so welcoming ready to couch anyone.And the fact that you are working with anyone u are nor restricted so you get a chance of leaning new thing and the way of doing things

I have extensive HR experience as i have been in the field for 6 years

I joined ER24 Pty Ltd in October 2015, I have learned so much since I joined the company, I do all HR functions; Compensations and Benefits, Payroll, Administration and a bit of Labour relations. I have SAP experience, CRS, Connect and Neptune experience.

Pros: I joined the company as HR Admin on a Fixed Term Contract the got a promotion to a permanent HR Officer position
Cons: There's no disadvantages
