Excellent learning curve. Great experience

In the billing room you certainly learn alot about local municipal accounts as we are responsible for the accurate billing and manangement of over 80000 meters in the Kempton Park area. Knowledge about the tariffs and how they work are a definite must. Handling customers and being able to explain how there accounts are being billed, doing recons and spreadsheets is a daily operation.

GOOD

We have a good relationship with my co-ordinator and my co-workers, if am getting another job so, they`ll be fine because to see someone achieve something is a good thing in our company. We work every day from 09:00 to 15:00 and we work hard and getting experience daily so its a good thing. I enjoying working as a team baking and singing make me feel good

I’ve gained lots of working experience and the ability to work as a team

• Provide information, education and communication of rodent control and other Environmental Health related matters. Distribution of pamphlets. • Mobilisation of community members to education campaigns and block meetings. • Follow up on identified infested premises as well as give feedback report. • Network and liaise with Environmental Health Practitioners. • Participate in rodent control education campaigns. • Report to the Environmental Health Practitioner as the immediate supervisor. • Reach the daily minimum target of thirty (30) premises inspected per Rodent Control Ambassador.

Pros: Great opportunity for working experience and helps to build team work
Cons: Workers are not well protected enough

Professional and competent person

A Typical work day will be receiving job cards for various work for artisans to do from bricklaying, plumbing and carpenters. Attending meetings with client departments and HOD in regards to new projects and maintenance on council buildings. Leadership style base on value and always recognizing co workers strength and pushing them to do their best. Throughout my career I’ve studied in the building trade witch I’ve achieved trade test in Carpentry, also SHEMTech(Health and Safety Environment Management ) and Project Management. What I enjoyed most, would be running projects from planning faze to implementation al through to completion. Working with the finance department on allocating budgets and awarding tenders. The most challenging part must fall under the most rewarding also, as I enjoy having a part of my work challenging.

Working a month to month contract

I am a contractor at Ekurhuleni with a month to month contract. I love my job but the security is not there. I do have a good relationship with all the people I work with, it be clients and colleagues. I must say it is very challenging to work without being sure of your contract will be renewed the end of the month.

Pros: It is great that I do have good relationship with the customer
Cons: I do not feel comfortable with a month to month contract

I am a fast learner

I have a National Diploma in Management and B-Tech Business Administration which I obtained at Tshwane University of Technology. The following is the duties at Pfunani Business Consulting as a Junior Accountant :efiling, Bookkeeping, Submitting SARS Return, Financial Advisor, Record keeping, Maintain archives, Sage account. I am a hardworking person, ability to work under pressure, commitment to task at hand, creative writing skills, I am dedicated to my job, ability to prioritize and meet deadline, ability to work in a group and I am a fast learner..

Excellent

I am assiting users Remotely solving problems and providing assistance over the phone I am creating new users via Active Directory and setting them up on the Mail Exchange server I have a great relationship with all my clients and I always show them how to fix a problem for their own knowledge base I enjoy every problem that pops my way, trying to solve it I am also fixing problems on the field like installing printer, setup users on the Network , and installing new computers

It was great and challenging. I had a good relationship with my co wokers, i was a good team player, i was also able working kn my own, i learnt many things based on computers, printers e.g connecting a printer ,joining computers on the domain, troubleshooting

A TYPICAL DAY FOR WILL BE FIRST THING IN THE MORNNING DEALLING WITH COMPLAINS COMPLAINS FROM EMPLOYEES ON MAY THE POLICIES THEY TOOK I MUST HELP WITH MAKING CALLS AND FIND SOLUTOIN ON HOW CAN I MAKE THE EMPLOYEE HAPPY AND SATISFYED BECOUSE A HAPPY EMPLOYEE EQAULS TO PRODUCTIVY, AND AS THE DAY GOES ON I DO FILLING AND DATA CAPTURING THATS A TYPICAL DAY FOR ME.
